Tomorrow is the Last Day of School Before Winter Break!

So everyone is very happy about that. You might think that since it's right before the holidays, the teachers wouldn't really make us do work, right? Apparently we have to do things that you would normally expect people to do in school, like math problems that start with "y=mx+b. If the slope is 4.3"... In fact, we had to take benchmarks today--your typical, boring, fill-in-the-bubble-and-do-not-make-any-stray-marks standardized test. The cake shaped like Africa was pretty good, though.
All the very deep snow has now been shoveled off the streets and piled high onto the curbs, which makes crossing the street very difficult. Especially if the SEPTA bus doors open and you have no alternative to jumping into dirty, knee-deep snow.
