Because of the fifteen inches of snow. But there is school tomorrow and Wednesday. Thursday is our first day of winter break. Grace's winter break started today.
We went to the Philadelphia Zoo. There was practically no one there. Not a lot of the animals were outdoors, except for the polar bear, the pumas, and the tiger. The orangutans and the gorillas were funny. There is a baby orangutan, who is on the front of the zoo map. Zola, of course, had a lot of fun.
Going back to school tomorrow will NOT be very fun. We have gym class, which falls under the category of "not very fun", as does math. It isn't that Algebra 1 is particularly horrible, but my class usually has it at the end of the day, when we just want the day to end soon. World Geography is going to be fun, though. We are finishing our unit on Africa soon. To celebrate, we are decorating a cake to look like Africa, which will probably be enjoyable.
