Seussical

Tomorrow Kate and I are auditioning for the school play. This year we are doing "Seussical". Wish us luck! We'll need it. Jen is auditioning on Friday.
Last year we did Anything Goes. It was so much fun. I was only in two scenes (with the rest of the middle schoolers), so basically we were in the school library for three hours. There are puppets in the library for unexplained reasons. Jen, Erin and I found one that bore a slight resemblance to Cookie Monster, except that it was green and had one eyeball and had a gaping hole where a puppet in better condition might have had a mouth. It had a tag. The tag said that its name was Burp. Eventually we figured out that it had once had a beak and another eyeball. So it was a bird? It certainly didn't look like one.
I hope that we can get in the musical again. It was really fun. Jen has been in it since fifth grade, when she was the only one in our class that was. I've never seen Seussical before, but I hope it'll turn out well.
