According to Kate, he is 67. (Happy Birthday Keith Richards! -Kate :)) Kate, please give me the keyboard back. We are posting from Maddie's house, where we are having a sleepover.
The winter concert was last night. It was really fun! The band had to warm up in the library. I was trying to play a very high note, which was F, and Ellie heard and immediately (and accurately) nicknamed it "Note of Doom". Five people told Kate and I how very loud we were singing the tenor part. This was probably because the other tenors weren't making much of an effort. Before the choir went on, we were watching Jurassic Park in the music room. Not so much "we", it was mostly the fifth graders sitting on the floor in front of the TV and making it very difficult to walk.
I was very tired. It didn't end until after I left. I was trying to wrap a Christmas present this morning, and Georgia the cat leaped into the gift bag and would not get out for a little bit. All of our cats like the Christmas season because there is wrapping paper to shred, ornaments to attack, and the Christmas tree's water to drink.
TYPO! He's 66!
ReplyDeleteYOU said he was 67! I could change it if I wanted to, but I don't think anyone's going to notice...this post is kind of old.
ReplyDeletelol. how can you forget keith's age, kate?????????
ReplyDeleteThe new Note of Doom is G, which is the highest note on the oboe. It usually doesn't make a noise, or a horrible screechy off-key one.
ReplyDeleteInteresting: It is not, in fact, the highest note. It's just discourteous to passersby to play any higher because it'll burst their eardrums.
