30 Day Drawing Challenge: My Friends

These aren't really drawings so much as cartoons or caricatures, but bear with me. I know they're stick people and the picture quality is low. I will attempt to clarify the text where my handwriting gets really illegible.

In Biology Class
In French Class
Clarification:
Vicky: Okay, uh... On a besoin d'un sac de couchage.
Ellie: No, we don't need a sleeping bag.
Ellie: We'll sleep on the ground! Like rugged men!
Ellie: EMMA! How do I say that?
Emma: On campe comme... des hommes ... rugged.
Manu: Des "hommes rugged"?

At Choir Practice
Clarification:
Ellie: *Reichenbach*
Sophia: mm.
Ellie: *more Reichenbach*
Sophia: mm-hm.
Sophia: hang on. Melina is signaling to me.

At Orchestra Practice
At All-City

On Bike Rides

And these ended up being really fun to draw, so I drew several of us killing time at the jazz fest.

Clarification:
Melina: But soft! What light--aw, come on. Uh... hey look, it's Juliet and  she's pretty.

And as a reward for those of you who put up with the blurry pictures (or just scrolled down),  here is a (much better quality) photo of my awesome birthday cake. (Credit for the cake goes to Mom.) Incidentally, what's a cake on a cake called? Would that be a meta-cake?

Oboe reeds.
