Today was a half day. I had "lunch" at around 9:50, so when I got home I wasn't that hungry. I had cheese. Then I started to wonder about the word "cheese". What word and/or language does it come from? Is it Latin? How come the types of cheeses have such weird names? Like Monterey Jack or Camembert.

I believe that many cheeses are named for the region/county/town from where they originated :)
