The Entrance of the Tall Ships

is one of our new band songs. Along with "Themes from Aladdin" and "Stars and Stripes Forever", it is a song for the spring concert. We got our new choir songs too, on Monday. They're pretty bad, but they are every year. The worst one by far is "A is for Alto". When we saw the title, we thought that it might be something like, "A is for alto, B is for bass" etc., but it really is a song about the altos. Which means that everyone else doesn't sing much. Which means that the song is pretty much inaudible. We're also doing an acappella (no accompaniment) song, which looks easy but is actually rather difficult. The third song is actually the best, "Teach The Wind Your Song". The lyrics were written by Amy Feldman Bergman, or something like that. The music was written by A.F.B. We wondered why they were different, because it was obvious that they were written by the same person. We might not be doing "A is for Alto" in the concert. I hope we don't.
