You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

The first four books of the Odyssey are known as the Telemachy.

We're now onto book five in English class, and I am still amazed at the number of people who think Pallas and Athena are two separate people (goddesses, whatever).
There's also a ludicrous amount of people who are complaining that the reading is too difficult. I have two responses to this: 1) No, it isn't, and 2) what did you expect?
A bit from Book 3:

"Mentor," Telemachus said, "distraught as we are for him, let's speak of this no more. My father's return? It's inconceivable now. Long ago the undying godshave sealed his death, his black doom."
Honestly, it's not that hard. Admittedly it drags on a bit when they're talking about the Trojan War (for which Helen apologizes in book 4), but otherwise, I like it. Which is evidently more than can be said by several of my classmates.
